The Rowan Rib sweater only came in kit form and was created in 1983 Contains the pattern and original Rowan wools - Original Chunky Tweed, British Wool Aran (the precursor to Magpie) and Chunky Chenille. As it was an original kit dye lots match when multiple balls are used. Pattern can be made in either of two sizes - medium to fit up to a 38 inch bust/chest or large to fit up to a 42 inch bust/chest. Modeled by Kaffe himself, this is equally suitable as a woman’s sweater. Knit in striped rib it’s one of Kaffe’s easiest designs to make up. Chunky weight yarn. Tension is 20 stitches and 21 rows to 4 inches US 9 needles.
