Description: Kaffe Fassett Trellis Patchwork Sweater - Original Rowan Knitting Kit. Commissioned by the National Trust in the late 1980’s this wonderful Kaffe Fassett design was never published outside the Rowan kit. Knit a rare piece of knitting history with this one. Contains the pattern and original Rowanspun Tweed in Caviar, Tea, Caper, and Fig. Rowan pure wool DK (later named lightweight DK) in black, grey, and air force. Enough to complete the sweater in any of three sizes small - 44 inch finished chest, medium - 48 inch finished chest, or large - 52 inch finished chest. Knit from a chart using a combination of intarsia and fair isle techniques. Aran weight yarn - the wool is used double. Tension is 17 stitches and 19 rows to 4 inches.
