The World's Rarest Colors - Dry Pigment Set - 18 HUE colors!

See last photo for color reference and details below for pigment info! **This set contains some colors that are currently being phased out of my paint line for new colors **Theis pigment sets colors differ slightly from my oil paint versions due to the nature of one being a simple pigment mixture and the other being a finished oil paint. THESE IMITATION COLORS >"HUES"< ARE COMPLETELY NON-TOXIC! Introducing a dry pigment counterpart to my "World's Rarest Colors" historical oil color HUE imitations! Each pigment mixture comes in a 1/2 oz. plastic container. This dry pigment set includes 18/21 of my offered colors (excluding Titanium White, Spinel Neutral, and Blue Mummy). Included is 2 of each primary, 2 of each secondary, 1 white, 1 black. (The exception to this rule of 2 is Blue and Brown, of which there are 3 of each!) The colors I choose to imitate tend to be more difficult to find, less stable, or impossible to find for one reason or another these days for the following reasons- Toxicity, High cost, Lightfastness issues, Regulations, Supply chain etc. I have worked hard to create modern versions of these sought after colors which eliminates the issues that the historical genuine colors come with. What this means- My imitation colors are guaranteed to be - Non-toxic, Lightfast, Durable, and Affordable! All while coming as close as I can to the original colors while following these rules. You may notice a few of these colors are slightly different than the originals in one way or another, but the goal is to capture as much of the essence as possible of the original colors while following the rules I mentioned above to give the artist a truly modern painting experience! All of these dry pigment mixtures can be mixed with paint vehicles (such as Linseed Oil or Gum Arabic) to create a viable paint. You could also try Acrylic Emulsion or Egg Tempera etc. I have included a color chart showing each of these pigments in both Linseed Oil as well as Gum Arabic to give you an idea of what these pigments look like when made into an oil or watercolor paint.
